The laboratory micromotor is the dental technician's usual working tool.
The SR 450 'Twister' micromotor was developed by us due to the increasing request for a light but powerful and reliable tool that could be used in any work in the dental laboratory, but especially for the processing of hard metals (chrome/cobalt alloys) and ceramics.
The laboratory micromotor consists of 2 parts: the Handpiece and the feeder.
The handpiece is equipped with a low-voltage (Brush-less) electric induction motor (32 V AC) which makes the spindle rotate through a transmission coupling.
The spindle is equipped with a chuck that can clamp a tool (cutter) with a shank diameter of 2.35 mm.
The brush-less motor allows high rotation speeds (3000 to 40000 rpm) while maintaining a high working torque.
The feeder consists of a transformer and an electronic control that feed the motor with a low alternating voltage at a variable frequency that allows it to adjust the operating speed and to regulate and compensate the working torque, so that it can work efficiently even at low speeds
VERSIONS
SR 450 P
Handpiece + Rubber support for the handpiece + Feeder with control and foot rheostat: the Feeder is placed under the table, and moving a lever with one foot you can switch the machine on and at the same time adjust the speed. The releasing of the lever immediately stops the micromotor.
SR 450 T
Handpiece + Rubber support for the handpiece + Feeder with table control and foot pedal On/Off: The machine is switched on with the foot pedal and the speed is adjusted manually with a knob on the Feeder located on the work table
